Celine...

D. was looking for inspiration for writing today's scene...he wanted to comment on the bleak nihilism that had gripped the times...he thought, who better than Celine? So he opened up his old copy of "Journey Into the Night." The page he opened too contained an excellent quote.

"You are already rather less proud of this youth of yours, you don't yet dare to announce in public that perhaps that is all youth is-a hurry to grow old."

He thought was where Generation X now?...a bunch of old married men and women with disgruntled kids...the same old shit...

"well fuck that," he thought to himself, "I ain't going out that way."

So he rolled up a fatty and began to smoke down deep inhalations...a warm buzz began to fill his mind and he was falling back into the radio dream...

D. wanted Radio Dream to have a film noir look. So he watched Sunset Boulevard, classic in the genre. The film captured perfectly the existential anxiety that man faces and the German Expressionistic influence was amazing. He would have to point this out to the Director of Photography....

Torture turns Zack Smiter He loves it when suspected terrorists are bought in and beaten. He watches from a secret room feeling erotic pleasure with every blow delivered to the prisoners body....

the director of photography was thinking about creating a dark color cast for the scene so he could invoke an ominous mood. In today's scene, Zack Smiter would be announcing to the nation that the country had entered an economic fiscal crisis.
