D...
D. walks across the bridge into fragmented dream. He finds nothing there accept empty symbols vestiges to token ego. He pulls out his camera to record the experience finding mostly a world gone dead. Once in awhile, however, he does find great beauty and tenderness. These are always special moments. IN deconstructing the dream, he poses a untiy to bridge the distance between us. D in his room...
the house as metaphor for mind, D. thought to himself...the song remains the same...it's how much money you have...illusions abound...some asshole wrote on facebook wall, we want all government out of our lives, the democrats will have payback in november...as if republicans dont' drink mightily the government trough....D. didn't even bother respond...it would take too much energy...the kids had moved on to their instagram world while their parents gourged themselves on leverage and free money in the form quantative easing...here in the east nobody cared about the caranage in iraq or afghanistan...as long as your were getting yours everything was fine...D. felt like getting buzzed but he held off from it...he wanted to get some work done...a sense of the aesthetic still lurked in his brain...he looked at a photo from 10/5/11...that wasn't that long ago and the magic of the light and the fact that he still cared about it impressed him...
